Organized on the initiative of the Office of Management and Human Resources (OMRH) on July 6, 7, and 8, 2020, this three-day workshop aimed to strengthen the entire public administration with a view to better provision of services to the Haitian population.

"This project will be implemented in two pilot Ministries, namely the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development (MARNDR) and the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Communication (MTPTC) to contribute to the expansion services provided by these two institutions. As time goes by, other ministries and public entities will be selected by the Management Committee, "said the organizers.

While thanking the IDB for its contribution in Haitian public governance, Mr. Patrix Severe promises all his support to facilitate the landing of this project, so that the impacts on governance are sustainable.

"On behalf of MARNDR, I thank the IDB for its customary contribution in Haitian public governance but also in economic and social development, in general in which large envelopes are granted as public investments from the Ministry of Agriculture, Resources Natural and Rural Development via agricultural projects and control of natural disasters ”concluded the Minister.
