Haiti's head of state, Jovenel Moise, announces strong measures to restore a safe climate throughout the country. He urges the police to put "out of state to harm" the bandits who make terror prevail in the different cities.
Recalling that the state can not be routed by armed individuals, the president assured that the police will use higher power to armed groups. In a firm tone, the president warned the bandits stressing that the life of those who carry out these packages is short.
Speaking at a grant-making ceremony for cooperatives, Mr. Moses assured that armed groups in Artibonite and other regions will not be able to continue their abuses. Although he did not mention the various aspects of the new security strategy, President Moïse maintained that special meetings of the National Police High Council (CSPN) have taken place in recent days.
He suggested that the police are already ready to implement this new strategy.
