Haiti News Politic: Pro-government deputies call on authorities to act

The Presidents of the majority blocs in the lower house: the "Alliance of Parliamentarians for Renewal" (APR) (formerly APH) and the bloc "Entente of Parliamentarians for a National Alternative" (EPAN) as well as chairpersons of Commissions from these two political blocs, among others, met Wednesday discreetly in a hotel in Petion-ville.

These deputies agreed to ask all the authorities of the State concerned, to assume their responsibilities and to take all the necessary measures to restore security and public order throughout the national territory, to carry out the dialogue with the forces of the Nation in compliance with the Constitution and ensure the smooth conduct of official exams.

However, this common position bearing the signature of 14 deputies does not commit, according to the signatories, all the deputies nor all the commissions of these two political blocs.
