The National Police of Haiti (PNH) continues its hunt gang leaders in several parts of the territory and almost intercepted Arnel Joseph during an operation in the Artibonite, less than 24 hours after the death of another leader gang Sony Jean aka Tije, according to police sources.

It is confirmed that gang leader Arnel Joseph was wounded during an operation conducted by the PNH official at Savien in the Department of Artibonite, then his right arm was killed during the gunfire during this same operation, "according to a tweet from the National Police of Haiti, late afternoon, Tuesday, April 30, 2019.
However, according to information obtained, Arnel was not injured by the police but in a motorcycle accident.
The day before, the Savane-Pistache gang leader, Sony Jean aka Tije was killed in a firefight with the police in Delmas 83, announced the PNH spokesman, Michelangelo Ange Louis-Jeune.
The police conducted an early morning operation in the heights of Savane-Pistache, which allowed to discover a hiding place of arms. Four rifles and a twelve-caliber rifle were recovered. The spokesman for the PNH had not announced an arrest in connection with this operation Tuesday morning.
