Haiti News Politic: New UNDP Resident Representative in Haiti

Bocchit Edmond, the Minister of Foreign Affairs received this week Fernando Hiraldo came to hand him his credentials accrediting him as the new Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Haiti.

During this formal exchange, Chancellor Edmond recalled the importance of strategic collaboration with UNDP and reiterated the willingness of the Government of Haiti to continue providing support to the UN organization for the well-being of the population.

For his part, Fernando Hiraldo expressed his ambition to further strengthen the working ties with the Haitian Government, in particular through the different ministries and national institutions, as well as with the Civil Society, in the framework of the 2030 Agenda of the Objectives Sustainable Development (SDO).
