The proposed Governability Pact, of which we have obtained a copy, is the result of this dialogue between the current power, the opposition and Civil Society and will now have to be submitted to all the stakeholders of the dialogue for signature.
Recall that the stakeholders who participated in the dialogue led by the Prime Minister and all those who will adhere to it by approving this Pact commit themselves over the next 3 years, to work together and to respect all the components of the Pact of governability intended to resolve the political crisis that the country is going through by consensus among the actors; to ensure the stability of the country by creating a climate of social appeasement and to promote the social and economic progress of the country.
Components of the Governability Pact :
- Political pact;
- Social pact;
- Economic pact;
- Pact to fight against waste, smuggling, corruption and incivism;
- Pact on the PetroCaribe Trial;
- Pact of justice, fight against impunity, public security and respect for human rights;
- Pact on the package of laws to be revised or put in place in 2019.
