Haiti Women's National Volleyball won the Championship

The Women's National Volleyball Selection Under-18 won Sunday, December 13, 2015 Junior Championship for the Caribbean Nations by beating 3 sets to 0 Barbados, host of the competition (25-15, 25-9, 25-19), learned Haiti Press Network.

Four volleyball players of this selection were honored for their talents by receiving honorary titles.

Pierre Solaida named MVP and best striker, voted best Djoulissa blocking Mathe, Marie-Juliete Bayol received the trophy for Best Opposite Kina and Fenelus as Best libero.

On this occasion, the Minister Albert Jimmy presented his warmest congratulations to this youthful selection composed mostly of volleyball players of the National School of Sport Talents (ARY) who proudly represented our country by defeating all opponents in this championship for seven countries.

The minister took the opportunity to commend the efforts of the leaders of the Haitian Federation of Volleyball to develop the practice of discipline in schools across the country.

Young volleyball players and the Haitian delegation will return on Monday and all the fans of this discipline are invited to greet the champions.
