Academic training : 
After his tray 2 in 1977, John Henry Céant enrolled at the Faculty of Law and Economics at the State University of Haiti. Along with his law studies, he taught accounting at the School of Commerce Julien Craan, statistics to the Haitian Institute of Statistics and Informatics (IHSI) Computer CISA and Spanish at the Institute Lope de Vega. To complete his training as Latin law notary in 1997 he followed specialized courses in Notarial Law in Spain "Universeridad Pontificia Comillas" and in 2001 at the University of Notaries organized annually by the International Union of Notaries in conjunction with the Notarial French Superior Council.

Professionnal career:
In 1980, John Henry Céant was appointed chief accountant for Enterprise Eddy Azael / Talamas Issa. At the end of the same year, he held the position of Head of Statistics Department at the Office of Export Commodities Promotions (OPRODEX).

Céant I started practicing as a lawyer in 1985. He became in 1986, a notary in the Municipality of Port-au-Prince and opened his office on behalf of Studies, Notary Céant. In 1992, he was appointed Secretary General of the Trade Union of Professional Association of Port-au-Prince Notary (ASNOP), he is also founder member. During his thirty years of professional experience, he taught for ten years, the right of ownership to the Quisqueya University in Port-au-Prince. He was also a teacher at the National School of Administration Finance of the Republic of Haiti (ENAF) and GOC University. He is currently a member of the General Council of the prestigious International Union of Latin Notaries (UINL)

Political career: 
In October 2009, he founded with some friends the Organization "LOVE Collectif Haiti" which is defined as: (Agir Ici Now and Rebuilding Together for Haiti).
In 2010, he was chosen by the political grouping called Renmen AYITI to be candidate for the Presidency of the Republic.

John Henry is still present this year under the banner of "Ayiti Renmen # 20" as a presidential candidate to succeed Michel Martelly.

Women, Peasants, the Young and the Haitian Diaspora are four (4) pillars of the action plan of the candidate Jean Henry Céant. 

Faced with great challenges, Céant told me believe that the miraculous weapon that has the country's diaspora from its attachment to the country, hard work, know-how, expertise, human resources and economic etc. 
According to John Henry Céant, Haitian women are at the crossroads of all the ways to change lives in this country. Mr. Céant coaching youth advocates for seniors. To build sustainably democracy in the country, Mr. Céant think we should change the lives of farmers by guaranteeing their right to live as any human being.
